Hi Katherine are u back already? 3 weeks can't have gone by this quick!!

She sttn except for nw at 4.30. I gave meds and she settled for about 10 mins and then started quietly groaning. This went on and off for bout half hr so I shushed her to sleep. Was that ok to do? And Dyt that was discomfort?

It's 8.40- should I be waking her? She never sleeps this late even after multiple long nws! Must confess- I'm a little worried :-( thought he might need the catch up...

ok I'm going to wake her in next 5 mins!

Yeah, probably discomfort from the groaning and the time to settle after meds. Totally ok to shush to sleep :)

She might be coming down with some illness... or just be sleeping off the last of the immune response to the vaccinations - that was a few days ago now wasn't it?

No vaccinations...she's just recovering from a cold so hopefully that's all it is! Will push first a out to 4h15 since I've been getting UT naps for a few days now...

So plan

Wu 8.45
A 4h15
Nap 1-3.30 (wishful thinking!)
CN if nap isn't long enough
BT 7.30-7.45

Fx'd!!

Sorry should have said

Wu 8.45
Nap 1-still asleep at 3.10
If I wake by 3.30 BT 7.45 or if wake at 3.45 and BT 8

Is 2h30-45min too much day sleep even on a one nap day?

Sorry panicking a little about what I should be doing!
aishi :)

Never has been with us -- when James is catching up, I get near 3 hour naps sometimes (and he doesn't nap much in the day as it is).

Meant to say, I'd just let her sleep and see where it gets you.

So far

Nw 9.10 ssh to resettle
Cried out 11.30, 1.10
Nw 3.15 teething meds. Groaning away sleep at 3.25 will ssh to sleep if unsettled like yesterday. I used teething gel as well as meds today so fx'd she stays settled!

When she sleeps well she sleeps soundly without a noise so I'm assuming OT?

Does this mean shes def not ready for one nap or do I need to stick it out for a few days obviously depending on wu time?? x

I'd say OT -- the 2-1 is a back and forth thing for most -- I found in the beginning we could handle one nap only every few days, otherwise there was just too much OT buildup.
