Anyone else go for it yet?  ;D

We're all still loving it!  The cuddles... DH and him wresting on it.... :D  The neighbourhood twins (age 5yrs) that came over to play yesterday....they played in his room, N sat on his bed so proud. He settels so nice for nap.  Bed he stays in his room but it takes him almost 40 min to sleep, (darn that nap, can't live with it can't live without it!  :P) but hey, he is in his room, he just calls me around the 30 min mark to see what/where I am, I go and make an appearance don't say anything, just peek at the door, then he goes to sleep.  :)

Still no gate, we leave the door open and then close it over and open it again when we go to bed.  We leave his nightlight angel on for him. No falls out of his big double/full bed yet. (touch wood) We still have the body pillow on the floor in case.  He tends to sleep near the wall and has so many stuffed toys in there, they block him from going too far to the edge.

He seeems so grown up though.  :-\

So glad it's continuing to go well Aisling! We move house Jan 31 and have promised DD a "cinderella bed" (which will really be a normal single bed with Cinderella sheets) and my parents bought her a princess ceiling fan which she's really excited about too. She says now she wants to sleep in the bed at the new house and not her crib but we'll have both at least at first to see as she's still been totally fine in her crib...

Not here.  I'm WAY to scared!  DH and I have actually been talking about co-sleeping cuz the Bug's sleep is so bad.  I know it seems backwards.  Don't you co-sleep with babies and wean them as toddlers?!>  We had a nice stretch of good sleeping over the holidays when we were all home together, but it's gotten bad again.  Not sure if it's routine-based or if it's just missing mom and dad when we're at work and she's at daycare.  She calls out to us and just likes to hear our voice or see us then she'll drop right off back to sleep.  She might just be getting lonely...

Ahh Casey, maybe a tad Sep Anx after the holidays like you say...do what you feel is right. No such thing as going backwards with these LO's it's moving fwd to what is best at the time.  Just think though, if she was in her own bed you or DH could hop in there with her to help her through the sep anx.  ::) :-[ ;)

Karen, that sounds like a plan, can't believe the move is nearly here.  Nello adores his new ceiling fan.

We're just now breaking the habit of needing mom and dad to sleep on the floor (maybe that's the nexus of the SepAnx?) although we were breaking the habit when we had the good sleep...

are you doing WI/WO or GW to help with the SepAnx, casey?

part of me loves hopping in with theron, though i've only done it once since the transition to big boy bed. theron didn't realize i was in there when he woke up in the morning, as he was sitting up with his back to me. when he noticed me he said "mumMA" with so much love in his voice, it just about melted my heart! a little part of me still hopes that i'll get called in there every so often ;) we don't have much cuddle time otherwise!
