So the grocery stores in my town have limited selection of baby veggie purees. I hadn't noticed at first, as DD hated to be spoon fed & so we've had great success with the BLW approach. Recently she's started eating pasta, which she loves, and we've tossed it with pea "sauce" (pureed peas) which she loves even more. So I sent DH to the store to buy some purees to go with pasta, such as broccoli & spinach. He came back saying all they had, besides peas, was carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, and something called "mixed vegetables". Then I went to the other store in town, thinking to myself, "he just didn't look properly", and found the same!
So, maybe it's just my town-- we're kind of in "meat & potatoes" country here. And I can make her food myself, it's just convenient to have the purees on hand. Just curious what kind of selection others have in their parts of the country (or other countries).
We're in the US, in the Northeast, BTW.
