Bumping up for you.
What sort of light is it? Where is it in the room?
It is a normal lamp with a night light bulb in it. I have put Abi's cot behind the door so the light does not affect it that much, but she still woke up and chatted for nearly an hour. She started getting louder and louder, so in the end I brough her back into her cot in our room and she settled back to sleep.
my brother put a blacklight in his DD room. could you put something liek that int here??? it probably wouldn't effect her quite as much that way.
I have looked up black light on the internet. I have seen the bulbs, but am not sure how that is going to give off any light.
My friend hung a track on ceiling and then got a curtain since her baby and hubby/her share a room. He will move into brothers room later and they may move the track there.
if the light is an issue, could you just do this?
I like that idea Stacy, will definitely keep this is mind.
I really like Stacy's idea. Are they going to have to share a room long term? If so, then that would be great to go ahead and do and then you could decorate one side for DS and the other for DD.
I am hoping that we will be able to find a 3 bedroom place, so this will not be an issue, but if we cannot find a 3 bedroom, this does sound like a great idea. I like the bit about decorating one half of the room for her.
I am hoping to try and wean DS off the light, but think it is going to take a long time. He used to sleep in the dark no problem, now he is absolutely terrified of the dark
