All this pesticide vs. organic talk has got me wondering how you wash your fruit for your kid.  I grew up eating fruit where a quick run under the water was sufficient, but now I am wondering if there is a way I should be doing it??  I have even seen fruit cleaner (?) in the shops...

I still just run it under the tap too and rub them with my fingers -- apples and other hard skin foods I'll scrub just because I'm a germ-a-phobe.

Phew that's reassuring lol  I give berries a good thorough soaking, but with apples, etc. I just give a quick rinse under water.  Really I am peeling the apples for him just now so it's probably not a huge issue.

I was brought up by giving my apple a quick rub on your upper leg and i'm not dead!

I keep getting told off for this now I am *not* a kid lol :)

I usually just run stuff under the tap, but I do occasionally use this

tap water here :)

there was a bit on the shopping bags (the show with those two women on W?) ..they tested a few veggie and fruit cleansers and turns out..good old fashioned water was better.
