Urgh I know! Not so much the EWs here but the nWs (she sttn last night so I can expect a few NWs tonight to make up for it :P) Dd2 seems to go against the grain because 2 nap days (usually a 20 min then a 1.5-2 hours) was the only thing that would tide us over. Only now at 16mo can she truly cope with 1 nap days x

So today went like so

 Awake 5 (up at 6)
 Nap - 10-10.30
 Nap - 1.50 - 3.30 (woke her)
 BT - 7.20

I thought she'd have a later BT but she was fussing so I gave her a bottle and she fell asleep on it, clearly the little miss is very tired.

Lets see what the morning brings us.  ???

Charli hon I hope you dont get any NW tonight!

That sounds like a great day, if you get a decent WU will you aim for one nap tomorrow? We had a perfect day (7.30, 12.45-3, I woke her, asleep 7.40) so by all rights should get a good night but doubt we will ::)
Good luck hun xx

OK ladies,

Heard her at 6 this am so not too bad a night I suppose although she can do better. Now I would normally just push through to one nap today but its DSL tonight and if she has a bust nap or pulls out an OT 1 hour15/20 nap on me I will have to go for a  early night of 6PM. Then even if she does an 11 hour night its still really a 4am WU tomorrow. Cant do that!  :(

Perhaps 2 naps today on the hope of a later BT and later WU? She's really tired, she has woken up tired and unhappy. I dont know whats making her this tired, teeth possibly waiting to pop through.  :-\

 All any suggestions welcome!  ;D

 How was your night Charli?

sorry I haven't been on....what did you do?

We spent too long faffing this morning and did car naps for both. Think you kind of have to wing it on DLS night....

Not sure how things are going to pan out for wither of them. Brodie was SO tired today as well, he has been for weeks with his non-napping. We decided to out him down to day and he slept for 1.5 hours. Goodness knows when he'll go to bed.  ::) Then he'll prob EW too. grrrrr.

Well with Baby D her day went like this

 WU - ? Possibly 6  ???
 Nap - 10 - 10.30 (woke her)
 Nap - 1.30 - 3.30 (woke her)

BT - to be confirmed.... :P Hoping she'll last out until 7.30 then pull a 12 hour night and its a 6.30 WU. I can dream eh? Or perhaps maybe even 8pm?

Charli, can your DD please pass some of those sttn vibes to us?! Awesome night!
Shivi, hope it works out for you guys! Fingers crossed!

Start a longer WD at 7:30 aiming to have her asleep by 8.  Hopefully B will be ready then as well.  If he's really tired a long nap should cause him to be sleepy earlier - sleep begets sleep.  Don't miss his window!

F won't sleep in the car these days :(  It's crib or nothing now.

Well, she was KNACKERED by 7pm. Falling over, incessant crying. I had to put her to bed, she fell asleep, proper conked on the bottle at 7.15. The best laid plans and all..... I was hoping for more like 8pm.

B went down at the same time, tired too. Not asleep yet and it 8pm.  >:(  ;) He's quiet though.  :)

Fingers crossed for the morning.  ;)

I figure worst case and she does 10.5 hrs right...?  It's not that bad.  It's amazing that we think 5:30 is an ok night lol  But hey, you gotta take what you get.  And since she's been a great sleeper she will get back on that train.  These other two, well, no hope for them.  Spirited monkeys.

10.5 hour night I'd take any other night but tonight the clocks change so that'd be a 4.30am WU.  :( I NEED her to do a 13 hour night.  :P Never going to happen.  ;)

As for the boys well yes, lost cause!  :P B up there STILL awake, playing away quietly. He'll nod off about 9 I bet then WU at 5. Short night = bad following day. Still, I got 1.5 hours to mysef today. DH and I carved pumpkins at the table and barely uttered a word lest we break the silence, it was so nice!  :D

Heard her at 5.55am so thats an 11 hour night really with the clock change. Although she could have been awake before that. She did have a stonking NW for 2 hours too, its def teeth messing us up, either that or I've been slack and she's had some hidden dairy. I am confident now its not a routine issue as the NW speaks volumes, she only seems to NW for discomfort and it def was pain.

B was awake shouting for his torch at 5am, he's only done a 9 hour night, possibly a touch less.  ::) He could've actually woken Dylan with his yelling.  >:( Who knows.

Anyways, I worked myself up into a frenzy and it wasn't too bad, yep Wendy...its that old thing...in the hour of 5 is old news to an EW veteran like me! B off swimming with DH and I am keeping D up for 1 nap today as she seems less tired than usual. B wont nap today but will have his rest on the sofa with the good people at Disney Pixar.  ;)

Aw, Wendy hon, transition to BBB, clock change. I'd be a wreck! :D

Thanks Ladies.  :-*

great plan!

Emma, my darling, did a 7.30 bedtime and slept 13 hrs to a new time 7.30. And I did all basic lesson planning from 8pm to midnight from now till 2nd Dec as the boys were out at a Halloween party.

Oscar (after a one-hr car nap) went to said party in friends house with DH - fell asleep in car at 10pm and was awake at 8 old time, the new 7am. So not so bad but he's a grouch today. They're gone out for a while with DH and then we have some yummy soup for lunch and a date with the dvd player for afterwards....and a 6pm bedtime for Mr. O tonight me thinks!

When oh when will I be able to relax about my 5.5 yr olds sleep? My mam finally was able to once I was reading real books by myself - I'd curl up and read from 7pm and then fall asleep with book on my face. So another 3 or 4 yrs I suppose?
