Thanks for checking in on us!

Well I cut right back but was still letting her have a wee drop of parmesan on her pasta and then yesterday I made soup with cheese in it and she gobbled it down, she had the leftovers again today. So we'll see. She is EW atm but apart from that STTN, skin is still clear but she's itchy. I think she's always itchy though.  ::)

Yup, Michelle, I think I need to take it a little slower. Its obvioulsy building up in her system over time as she's always fine for the first few days of a dairy trial.

I'm glad she's back to sttn though - that's progress!!!  Here's to hoping she continues to do well with the recent cheese.  How long does it usually take when you're doing a dairy trial before she starts having trouble?  I'm just curious for when we start trialing.

Olly gets itchy too and I don't think it is food. I think some LOs have are sensitive to foods are just sensitive in general. Good to hear things are on an even keel again  :D

Michelle - it can take anywhere between 4 and 7 days. What I will say about htis time that it took longer than the other times for the effect to become apparent. Not sure if thats a good thing or not.

Yep, not too worried about thie itching beciase she's generally an itchy wee soul anyways!  :(

Well we have just been to a birthday party and i let her eat whatever she liked. She had cheese and sandwiches with butter and some brownie made with butter. Honestly, she has never eaten cakey stuff like that before. It was nice seeing her get really excited about the chocolate. I'll pay for it tonight or tomorrow night no doubt.

I would say that since it took longer for the reaction this time that it's a good thing.  How long does it take her to return to normal after too much dairy?  Here's to hoping tonight isn't as bad as you fear.  Glad she enjoyed herself though!!

STTN fine! Although IME it tends to be a few nights later. I am just realising that as a family our diet has changed incredibly and intro'ing dairyis weird for us as we have been so used to not eating creamy pastas or soups so it'll be a while until we are all back at it.

YAY for a good night!!!  May it long continue!!!  I hear you on the weirdness of eating dairy again - even now, I just had a yogurt and felt odd even grabbing it from the fridge...

Yay for the good night! Been reading along, and just wanted to offer some hugs and support. these dairy trials are a challenge to the whole family aren't they?

Been reading along too as I have no useful advice on the matter.  So, just some (((hugs))) and vibes for continued success!

And of course to you other ladies too.  :-* :-* :-*

She had yoghurt tonight so we shall see what tonight brings but I am feeling quite good about our progress even though I have had to rein in and reduce at least I;ve not had to full on eliminate.

Slow and steady wins the race.  :P
