I went back off milk products again. I just don't know what's causing what, I think time will tell, I hope.

Hi buntybear.....yes no milk still but I don't notice much change. She doesn't have cramps anymore actually come to think of it.

She has very watery poops still. She has diaper rash as well, maybe from the diarrhea? She cries when she peeps or poops now which is new.  It must be stinging her.

Those abx are the devil for her little wee tummy. I hope she never has to use them again  ???

Is it a yeast diaper rash? Antibiotics can cause an imbalance that allows yeast overgrowth. Probiotics will help but in some cases you may need an antifungal to help take care of the yeast.

If she's having watery, green poo, I think I might be inclined to get a medical opinion on this rather than carrying on assuming abx/intolerances, just to make sure there's not some other underlying issue :-\  Not easy when it's Christmas day tomorrow....

Thanks ladies...actually thus far she's had only one poop today and it was BROWN!!  First time ine so long. I called her dr and he wasn't worried at all ( they never seem to be huh?) but the fact her poop is good today makes me feel better, but ill see how tomorrow goes. I have a feeling the probiotic is helping. Oh, and it was normal consistency, not runny too.

Yes she had yeast diaper rash when she had her virus at the beginning of the month, her bum was so raw, now it's back to normal pretty well, a bit bumpy but were still using her anti fungal cream for a few more days.

Merry christmas girls  :-*

Keep an eye, though.  Some infections can come and go (I had a parasitic infection a few years back where I was unwell for a couple of weeks and then ok for a few weeks - tricky to find as it can only be picked up in a sample at a certain time during the lifecycle)

Something's so not right and I'm worried bc her dr isn't concerned.

Her poop is back to green and it's pure slime. No changes in my diet, still no dairy, and she's been crying more than normal. Dr said its her guts recovering from the abx, and not to worry.

I'm thinking to just take her to hospital. From what I've read though if she has no blood in stool, and no fever, it's probably standard diarrhea that needs to run its course?  I try giving her water but she refuses the bottle, I tried a syringe and sippy cup but NOTHInG is working. Omg I'm lost.

It doesn't sound like standard diarrhea to me hon. They coud test her stool maybe?

Hugs. Do you think she's getting dehydrated? Is she nursing well?

She is seriously shrieking in pain.  She's nursing we'll, I don't think she's dehy bc she peeps ok and cries very well, but dr said to try water but she won't take it

I know she's teething, but could teeth be THIS bad? Maher two bottom teeth were not like this, she fussed, had runny stools but not, this bad.  I took a video so I could show the dr in case she's sleeping when she's there.

Great idea about the video. I wouldn't think teething woulf be this bad honestly. I'd go see a doc just to be on the safe side hon.

So many hugs.

Teething can do some weird things, but this does seem to have been going on for rather a long time.  I think, if it were me, I might be seeing a different doctor and asking for a stool sample to be taken.  Good luck
