Early waking from 2 year old
« on: March 31, 2018, 05:24:25 am »
My 2 (2 year 2 months) year old is generally a very good sleeper. He goes to bed at 7.15 and generally wakes around 6.15/6.30 for the day. He tends to have an afternoon nap around 1.30pm for no more than 1.5 hours. He has no issue going to bed and is usually straight to sleep. However last few days he has woken at 5.30 - I wonder if this could be developmental or a sign that the nap needs shortening?

Hi it could be the nap needs to be moved later/shortened, could be OT if he’s had a string of EW or it could just be developmental. My DS2 is 2 yrs 2 months and the last 3 days has point blank refused a nap in his bed. Just out of the blue he’s decided it’s more fun to stay up lol!

How’s his mood?
