Hi everyone. I am new to posting to this site, and let's just say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE Baby Whisperer books, and I am now in love with this site. During the first 3 months of Scarlett's life, I regularly came and read different postings and they helped all of us survive the newness of a baby. She is a textbook angel baby, and this is why I am writing...

She just got her first tooth -- woke probably 3 nights, every hour just crying and upset. I rocked her to sleep. Then 3 nights totally normal. Now the past two nights, up every hour. She normally (with the exception of the past week and a half or so) sleeps from 7:30pm-7:30am, soothing herself back to sleep if she woke up. Now, not so much. She cries a broken hearted cry. Do you think she's getting the other tooth on the bottom? Am I creating a bad habit of rocking her back to sleep? She just never is this pitiful -- I've been spoiled. She has been on her own in bed basically since 3 months, always going to sleep totally on her own, not even wanting us to hold her.

What do I do? :?:

Sounds like another tooth, the fact you hada bad nights then 3 good nights & more bad nights I don't think is saying what you did before caused a problem. keep with the routine that was working & it should go back once the next tooth is through.
