Hi,I know this has been posted but this is what I get when I try to upload

 The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved

Is this mine or the sites?

Is this for replacing the avatars too - I cannot replace mine....not sure if it me or what? I've never been real good at getting it replaced........

Yes, it's all attachments, which includes avatars.  It is a known issue and we have logged it for the attention of the webmaster :) :)

In the meantime I would recommend using an image host like Photobucket for uploading your photos.
