Nate had a reaction to a peanut butter and jelly sand. my mom gave him the other night. He took one bite and didn't particularly want it (which the only thing I have found that he won't eat is ladybugs!). My mom thought it was because he's been stuffed up, so she coaxed a small second bit. But he clearly didn't want it. She gave him a bottle and laid him down to rest and he started fussing - my dad went in and he was swelled up and had red blotches all over his face! He never labored to breath, and he was acting fine (other than digging because of the swelling), but I'm scared to death! My hubby gave him Benadryl and we watched him the rest of the night (I was an hour away at a dr's appt). His peds dr has ordered allergy tests at Akron Children's Hospital in May (earliest they can get him in). Does anyone know a site I can look up common peanut oil foods that I may not be aware of? Thank you
