some get growth spurts early, some right on time, some late...just keep an eye on how much he is eating and you may want to start adding some extra in there if you notice he is polishing off feedings quicker.

thanks for all your replies, and as fare as the paci I think he does have a slight dependence on it especially at night, I can go through the whole day without but won't settle without at night. Altough my DS is doing much better. In the past week he's only had occasional waking at night. One thing I noticed is that this all started when  we set the clock ahead for day light savings. I now put him to bed at 8, no earlier as I noticed more waking if I do.  I think that with the time change and possible teething was the problem.
