I have a phone number for Diaper doublers where I order them
1-800-335-4434.

I forget how much they are but I buy them by the case and they were really reasonable.
Also, I have seen them at Babies r us (if you have them where you are) and have even seem them in some grocery stores.

Thanks for all your help, I just so happen to run across some diaper doublers at the grocery store today so we will try them with the larger diaper.  He is growing so fast I'm not sure if the larger diaper is even larger anymore  :P
The difference in the diaper doublers and the women's thick pad is the back of them.  The diaper doubler allows the urine to soak through to the diaper, I'm not sure the women's pad does since the back of it is sticky and lined so hopefully it will help.

I never could find a disposable that would hold my ds through the night.  I use a toddler-sized prefold cloth diaper at night with no leaks and use regular-sized cloth during the day.  I have to say he does not seem to care if he is wet inside the diaper, only if it soaks through.  And those who really want to use disposables (for convenience, I presume) remember that if you are changing the sheets every night and washing all the wet clothes, too, you are doing more laundry than I am!  That's how I ended up with cloth diapers.  :)

Thankfully as soon as my doublers arrived I stopped changing sheets! (OK I still change them twice a week for hygiene purposes!)  They never get wet anymore!

I am glad cloth is working for you, I was in cloth when I was a baby!

My LO seems to mind the wetness inside so don't know if cloth would work or not.  He woke up last night at 1 am so I changed him while he was up.  I was wondering if having the doubler on woke him because it was wet and kinda stuck to him.  Or maybe he just woke up as some random thing; teething, cold, hot or whatever other reasons they wake at night  :P
No, he is a good boy, good sleeper for the most part, just early riser no matter what bedtime  ::)

Summersu - I slather like - really cover (I buy A&D by the bucket lol) A&D all over Owen's diaper area before I put the doubler and diaper on.  Perhaps that will help?

I think they can be for either, but I use them with disposable.  I know they also make cloth inserts to put in diapers if you don't want the disposables.

Okay so maybe I need to do that (cover him with A&D or Destin)  because he woke up again  ::) around 1 am and I changed his diaper (took off the doubler and just used larger size diaper) and he went back to sleep  :) so maybe he doesn't like the feel.  So if I lather him with something so he doesn't feel it  :P, he may sleep.  He is teething right now too but I don't think that is why he is waking.  Cut his 1st tooth last week  ;D
So we will try that tonight... it is so funny to hear and see the grandmothers' faces when they see me putting diaper doublers on him, or give him teething tablets, or lather him up in vaseline or something.  They always look like  ??? what are you doing?  Or what is that for.  New day and age folks!
Anyway thanks all, we will try the lathering up with gunk ;)

Maybe they just want to give him brandy for the teething?  :)

LOL, yeah really.  I know my mother goes back and talks about all the "crazy" things I am doing with other family member
cause they say stuff to me like "I can't wait until Grayson graduates high school, I think we should put in his senoir ad about how he wore women's pads when he was little"  ::)  They are so funny  ::) ::) ::)
