Just thought this might help people work out when to slot in solids with bottles/breastfeeds.
Note - altho this was originally created by Natasha, this most recent version was written by RachelC (Breastfeeding Moderator) in September 2007 in consultation with other 'Eat' Moderators in response to comments from parents posting on the Breastfeeding, Bottlefeeding and Solid Foods forums.
The words Milkfeeds and Milk are used throughout to indicate that the routines are equally appropriate for breast or formula milk/feeds - COW'S MILK SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN AS A MAIN DRINK UNTIL AFTER 12 MONTHS OF AGE!
Please keep in mind that every baby is different and that these routines are merely suggestions. You need to find what will work best for you and your los.
