13 month old EW's, what's going on?!?!

Had DD at the Dr. yesterday and she said it's just the cold, nothing more.  The pharmacist suggested the saline with aspirator idea too, tried it once and DD would not hold still to even get the saline in her nose!   May give it another go.  This is such a nightmare!!!! 
Don't know what to do about her sleep, she is constantly OT and just will not nap in the pm even though she rubs her eyes, yawns and is clearly tired...she just throws a big screaming fit.  Now worried that we are back in the AP mode since we have had to go in so many times at night and stayed until she is back asleep.  We were doing so well!

it takes 2 of us to do the saline bit with Abby - I hold her down while dh does the spray and aspirate.  It's awful.  But it does help.  Don't worry about getting off track because she's sick.  You'll recover.  We'll help!!  {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}

Thanks Michelle and Happy Holidays!    DD actually had a decent night last night which surprised me due to all the Christmas festivities and visitors.   I think she has a different cold now, makes sense that she picked up another with her immune system down from fighting the first.  She's super snotty with this one  but the good news is DH had it first and it didn't stick around too long, less than a week.  Have been using the saline and think it has helped a bit.  Tried the plug in vapour thing but feel it made her worse, even I felt stuffed up in her room with it on.  Like me, DD has always been sensitive to certain smells, particularly stong scents.  Was worth a try though! 
Would really appreciate the help getting DD back on track once she it better    Will keep you posted.

Happy Holidays to you too!  Sorry I've been MIA - went to the ILs in florida for Christmas.  How are you doing now?  Glad the saline seemed to help - hope everyone is feeling better now!!
