Bleurgh, not so great now. We were ticking along ok with little bits here and there, not much really to speak of but she was getting some in.

Then yesterday I made mashed potato with butter and milk in (couldn't resist, its been so long!) and I also let her have a tiny bit of brownie I made and before bed last night two stonking great shiners appreared and her nose and eyes were streaming. She was then up for a record 4 hours last night.  :'(

Well, its safe to say she cant tolerate full on dairy yet. She is a mess, her skin has dried up and she's snotty and then there's the bright purple rings around her eyes. Its amazing what a tiny bit of milk can do to these MSPI kids.  :'(

oh Emma!  {{{{{hugs}}}}  but I have to admit, mashed potatoes with real butter and milk sounds sooooooooooooooooooooooooo good to me!  The silver lining is that you do know now, and you know how far she can go for now, which is better than no dairy at all.   little tiny steps, I guess?

I agree with Michelle - but if it were me, I'd go back to NO dairy at all for at least a few weeks to give her gut a chance to heal. I know it's hard but my little guy is more than 2.5 and still can't tolerate ANY dairy. We're not even trying again till he's 3 since it was such a mess last trial (two months ago). So many hugs!

Yup, I've cut her off! The wind she is producing is toxic....her poor tummy must be really sore.  :'(

Aww, poor wee girl.  I would try again when she is 2 or so as that is often an age they outgrow it (or tolerate better) :-*

Aww, that's too bad, poor girl! Hopefully 2 is the magic number for her, we are still off dairy at 3.5!
