Yesterday:
Breakfast: 4 mini waffles, 1/2 peach. 2 strawberries and some cheerios
Lunch: Ham and cheese sandwitch (1/2) was offered cucumbers and kale but turned both down...instead ate sweet potato chunks and peas.
Dinner: Spinach pancake, tried some chicken and broccoli, more sweet potato chunks, yogurt, blueberries and 2 chocolate animal crackers.

Feel like dd eats ALOT of fruit.  I mean she can eat a whole peach in one sitting if I let her (and sometimes I do)  Is that okay?

Its a frozen organic thing I found in the supermarket.  Its called Dr. Preggor's and they make spinach pancakes, broccoli pancakes and veggie burgers. What I like the most about them is I can read all the ingrediants and know exactly what they are.  My thought was spinach and broccoli are the two veggie's we are struggling to get dd to eat so this was my alternative every once in a while :)

LOVE the Dr. Praeger's products. In fact, making DS one of the broccoli pancakes for lunch today! But you can add pureed or grated veggies to normal pancake batter too. I often add grated zucchini to pancake batter when making them for DS and DD. They don't notice and it adds nutrition!

Hmmm, I like the pancake ideas above.  Have never heard of such a thing.

B - oatmeal with peaches and strawberries.
L - blackbean soup, salmon cake (home-made) refused, bread and PB, strawberries, cheese
S - muffin, banana, small yogurt
D - same salmon cake (well, a new one) - but fried in butter and dipped in ketchup - dd loved it!, 3 spears broccoli, and 3 snap peas, baked mac and cheese, 1 strawberry, 1/2 frozen yogurt tube - excellent dinner - very happy with the veggies eating.

Limping along half heartedly over here! Nathan is on day three of refusing meals one minute and then scarfing down food the next. He is refusing his favourite, and greedily gobbling brand new things. He is teething pretty bad (the sharp little upper ones just popped through... I think they are called eye teeth? You know, the vampire ones.).

When things calm down, I will start posting again. It is too frustrating right now! Ahhhhh... I love him, but he drives me bonkers as well.

Feeling the same way here, Amy. Though in our case it's a raging case of coxsackie, not teething - complete with fever, mushy poos, etc. Feel badly for him and am so drained!

Hi Ladies - been at MIL's for a few days - but survived that  ;) Things have been a bit all over the place here but am *trying* to keep feeding DD as 'healthily' as possible . . . that didn't prove as hard as I imagined when visiting MIL as I cooked a couple of meals myself LOL! However we went to a wedding and DD shocked everyone on the table by eating most of what was put in front of her (if not eating it all then at least trying it  ;D) including all the strong cheeses and chocolate truffles (not my idea  ::)) that some of the grown-ups wouldn't touch!

Hugs for all the Mummies and LOs who are sick or teething (or both  :P:-* :-* :-*

Here's what I think the last couple of days have been - give or take the odd thing I've forgotten . . .
Yesterday
B: cereal medley (shreddies, rice crispies, few CN cornflakes) and milk
S: mixed dried fruit (sultanas, apricots, cranberries), water
L: 'child's lunch bag' which consisted of: cheese sandwich, small packet of cheese crackers (baked not fried  ;)), fromage frais, small bottle of flavoured water - there was also a small apple but DD insist that 'I no like skin' these days so I ate that!
S: packet of yoghurt coated sesame snaps (3)
D: pork pie, mashed potatoes, mushy peas & brown sauce for dipping, yoghurt, water, home-made blackberry & apple muffin

Today
B: cereal medley & milk
S: not sure - DD was with my Mum, so probably an organix cereal bar from her 'treat tin' - carton of apple juice (I know cos she was still drinking it when I picked her up!)
L: cheese sandwich, grapes, ice lolly, small bottle of juice
S: pack of organix biscuits, finished off juice from lunch
D: potato & chard gratin, sausage roll & mayo for dipping (she does like to have a dipping sauce  ;)), small pot of peaches in juice, mini apple muller rice, water, blackberry & apple muffin

She's an 'oldie'  ;) She may well be the OAP of the thread - she turns 3 next week . . . which makes me think it might be time to retire from the thread???

At what point / age is your toddler not a toddler anymore? Hadn't thought about this until now  :o Despite the fact that in the last 12 months my toddler has turned into a proper little person I'd never really thought about when you stop calling them a 'toddler'??
