Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. HV doesn't think she has reflux... oh well. She's BF, and refusing EBM in bottles at the moment... she's a trouble maker...
A usual day goes like?
E: 5:30am
S: til about 6:45
E: 7am
A: til about 8:30- 9
S: til about 10:15, depends....
E: at about 10:30-45
A; til about 12 or depends on how long the battle to sleep last for...
S: from 11:30 or 12 or whenever she agrees to sleep but there about to about 1:30, 2 on a good day
E: 2 ish
A: til about 3:30 ish
S: hit and miss! some days she'll nap and some days she'll refuse (but actually the days she kicked up a real fuss were the couple of days after her jab so.... maybe that's why?)
E at about 4pm
then this bit is really hard as i dont' want her to sleep from 5pm, because then she gets up at 7pm wanting to play a bit. I don't know how to stretch this bit. If she naps then she won't go to bed until 8:30pm! We usually end up stretching the A til about 5:45pm, and she gets a bit OT and cranky.
Dream feed at 10:30pm ish, but she's been refusing and we had to put it back to 11pm,
then wakes up at about 3:15am for feed, and then again at 5:30am (not sure why she needs this, I tried to settle her without feeding without success). Both these feeds are quite reasonable length and draining 1 breast reasonably well. And then the day starts again....
The naps are always offered in her nursery, blinds drawn etc. she doesn't wind down well at all. She won't sit still/lie on shoulder until she's just about falling asleep, unless I pace up and down the room/rock her slightly. She'll kick and babble etc. She doesn't like swaddling unless she's really tired, probably because we stopped swaddling after she's a couple of weeks' old. We still swaddle her arm occasionally when she's really OT and impossible to settle.
The first A is usually spent in our bedroom, talking and babbling and smiling with DH before he goes to work for about 15 min, and lying next to me babbling at the curtain while I'm trying not to dose off and failing....
Sorry for going on and on. She does this wake up after 5 min thing now only a few times for naps, so it's a bit more manageable, but I'd still like to know whether there's anything i can do to stop her from doing that.... But also would really like some help about what to do with the evening bit of EASY as it's quite stressful every day.
Thank you all so much for your suggestions so far - it's really really helpful!
