Because she's catching up I would let her sleep but I wouldn't go more than an hour or so. And I would still do an EBT

Well her total day sleep is up even if not in the form of the most restorative naps. Total was 2hr50 minutes.

She was having a lovely nap and at the 35 minute mark this stupid alarm clock went off, it was left over from the other day, DH just went from night shift to day shift. Blast! So she was up at 3. Thinking 5:20 BT? Hoping we make it to 5 am tomorrow!

Oh that's too bad!!!

Well if her nap was only 35 mins I would say keep a close eye on her and put her down sooner if she needs it. Good luck for tonight/tomorrow morning.

I think I should have gone for 5. :( Took her a long time to settle. Wound up being 5:45 before she was out!! Stupid alarm clock!!!!

I may AP and feed her again if she wakes before 5, just to get the sleep in her! I know not to make it a habit it just to try and get ahead a bit.

Good luck for tonight/tomorrow morning.

Thanks, we may need it!:)

Good idea. Try to give yourself a head start for the day.

Out at 8:18 up at 9:21. I remember you said this would take a while :).  I sense a 3 nap day coming, but we'll see.

Yea, naps usually take around 3 weeks and that's with total consistency...it'll take over a month if there are lots of disruptions to routine, etc.

Do a 3rd nap around 2 if you can.

Yesterday was no prize.  And last night was up and down for the first and last bits but she did sleep ( choppily) from 5:40 to 6:35. Did 1st nap from 9:04-10:30!!!! Yay! Our 1st restorative nap in weeks.,That is sad. But yes, And out again at 1:05. SHe slept a glorious 26 minutes which in the past has been UT for her.

I do think the set nap thing can work for her but is 1:30 more realistic. I mean, I assuming she will eventually have a decent nap in the AM more consistently and then to just do 2.5 hours after that seems a bit unrealistic. Would set at 9 and 1:30 be more realistic? Or later? Obviously I would have to watch closely if she had a lousy first nap but what do you think?

Trying another nap at 3:30. Hopefully good but we will see and then hopefully do 6pm BT.

I would say she was OT from the short nap.

And no, I wouldn't go later then 1pm. If anything I would start the morning nap a bit earlier to give you some more time but honestly, many babies will nap at 9 and 1 even with a good long am nap. I would stick with this pattern for a week before you change anything because you won't know for sure what's what.
9-11 months is notorious for sleep regressions and they often hit the naps hard, so I would be consistent with those times. If you want to start at 8:30 for the morning, then I would do that, but I really would not go later than 1pm for the afternoon one. Not until you see a week's worth of 26 minute PM naps at least.

How did she wake up from the 26 minute nap?

She was mad. ANd she was doing her UT move of when I pick her up she leans towards the door. She was absolutely NOT going back to sleep. I am sorry if I am not getting it but even after just 2.5 hours, if it reasonable to expect her to sleep another decent nap? Just to know which way to head tomorrow.....

OK, we will at least give this a week. That said, thinking I will do her nap at 8:30 this morning. She was out at 5:20 last night. Handed her lovey to her at 8, same at 10. Fed at 11:30. Fed again at 3:50. ( 10.5 hour hump) We really can't be starting our days 10.5hours into her night sleep!! Hoping to push that first feed some more tonight, working towards combining them.So yes, 8:30 and 1:00 naps today, hoping for the best. If 1:00 nap goes belly-up maybe I should try again sooner than I did yesterday? FIngers crossed we make it to BT!! ;D
