Uughhh. Horrible afternoon.

Bram was put down for a nap at nursery without his dummy for some reason. He woke 45 mins later crying and was given it but wouldn't go back down. He then hysterically screamed and cried, so much so they had to come and fetch me. I am Deputy Manager and was in the office. When he saw me he got worse. This went on for the next 40 mins with him saying he wanted his shoes on and wanted to see Tess (his teddy he sleeps with at home) This is so out of character. He's never cried for that long, even when he was little. He could not be consoled. I decided to bring him home early and he just sat quietly watching TV with Tess and his Dummy.
Eventually at 5pm he seemed to cheer up a bit and played. He seemed so tired I put him down for bed at 6.30pm but he would not lie down and was jumping around and laughing. I left him to it and have been back in once and he is still talking now - its 7.05pm.

Very puzzled xxxxxxxxxx

No NW but up at 5.30am : P  Happy about NW.

What should i be aiming for with the nap now? Will do midday and shall I still do 1 hr 45 mins or less? And bedtime? Lost all my ability to decide..think i may be coming down with something...ughh.

Groundhog Day?!  xxxxx

Been out of the loop as I have been ill : (

Bram continues to have as early a nap as possible of 1hr 45 mins unless at Nursery and goes to bed between 7.15 and 7.30pm, usually quiet straight away.
Waking up time is still 5.35am - 6am. And he is grumpy and weepy quite a lot. But he IS 2and a half ; )

His night almost seems set at 10 hrs - is 11hrs 45 mins sleep in 24 enough for him? He used to be such high sleep needs. Is it normal that they can just change?

My ability to sleep well has been lost too. Often i wake for the loo and can't get back to sleep as I'm wondering what time he'll get up!!
Trying to stay positive - I know its not the end of the world but am just exhausted at the moment xxxxxxx

Yes he's got 20 teeth, DH counted. So that means they are all through i think? I know what you mean it sounds like teething. Can some children have more teeth than usual?xxxx
