Last night was one of the worst yet :'(. After the 2 am feed, she never really went back to sleep :'(. She pooped so I changed her, she may have slept for 20 minutes, she may not. She doesn't cry, just tossing and turning and squealing and playing. I fed her again at 6 and she's sleeping now (7:15). I just need a break. :'(

I read the first 3 or 4 pages - thanks for digging that up btw - but Medi sounds different tbh. We do get an habitual early evening waking about 9:30 pm but she'll either put herself back to sleep or I shh/pat her for ten minutes. I think it's the remnants of the first feed I'd been giving her but she didn't really need. If that makes sense?  It's the later part of the night/early morning that we have issues.

She poops after nearly every feed apart from bedtime and the first night feed. It seems if she has two nf then she poops after the second one and then can't get back to sleep. If she has only one nf she won't poop until morning. The bad night, I gave her a df (which I don't normally do) to try to push the feed a bit later. Obviously I'm not going to do that again lol!

The past two nights have actually been ok. (Typical, I only post when things are bad!). We had a super ew yesterday but I was expecting that, and last night was great, 6:30 pm - 6 am with a feed at 1:45.  So tonight I expect there will be trouble!!  I really think too much napping just doesn't work for her so I have to be strict with myself and wake her up on time.

Ours was in part a food intolerance issue which is why I asked. Once we cut an offending food he was a lot better.
Have you tried w2s on the habitual waking? - you could sneak in 5 mins before it if it's like clockwork too and use a bit of pressure to see if that helps her stay asleep. :-\

Yeah naps can be tough. I think we had 2 x 1.5-1hr45 but a 2 hr one messed with nights ::)

If it was a food intolerance, would she not be uncomfortable?  She doesn't seem to be.

The 9.30 wake up is getting less, I will see what happens tonight. I've not had much luck doing wake to sleep with her, I tend to wake her up too much somehow :(.

I have learned my lesson about her naps - not one second more than 1.5 hours.

She is such a funny little thing. So so cheeky.

Yes she would be unhappy about being awake, or show insomnia symptoms. I just wanted to see if anything jumped out at you about my thread as some of our issues were food related, and constipation related. It's good that she seem different :)

Ha yes T is the same with his nap. One sec over 2 hrs and he's a battle at BT. He's actually better to be a touch OT ::)

Oh yes, Medi's like that too. But just a touch ;).
Another good night. Bt 6:30, one NW at 1 am, I fed her, and up at 5:40.  Dd1 never ever did 12 hour nights and I don't think this one will either.

Ick. 5:15 today. She was hungry because her nf was early, 12:30, but no way is she going back to sleep :(.   I hate this.

What happens if you feed and put back down to sleep? - does she just scream?

Have you thought of w2s around 4am for 3 days to see if it is a habit?

Sorry Hun, just thinking of anything that could help :-*

It doesn't help that dh gets up at 5. Bless him, he tries to be quiet but he has to go past her door and for a small man he has very heavy feet ::).

I fed her at 5:15. I put her back down and she was happy until almost 6:30, which is the time I'm willing to get her out of bed. ;). I kept her up till 9, she was happy as a clam ::) until then.  I think I'll just have to do set naps with her and see how we go.

I'm terrified to do w2s in case I wake her up at 4!!

I think I'm going to have to try w2s :(. She was awake again at 5:10. Happy as Larry after her 11 hour night. I actually fed her twice, at 11 and 3.
It's tricky. I don't think she needs more than an 11 hr night but on two naps it's hard to make the day long enough :-/.

I think you may as well, you have nothing to loose ;) if she does a 4am WU then go for a longer day with a CN and know it didn't work.
Just remember you don't wake, just stir. Or if you do wake then I'd feed - if you haven't already done 2 NF xx

I'm going to have to. She woke up this morning at 4:30. I'd only fed her once (at 12:45) so I fed her. And it's now gone 5:30 and she's still awake.
