Thanks Aishi. Thanks mycatmonet. Thanks Jessmum :)

Benji went to sleep at 6.18, woke at 9.30pm then slept till 6.18am! So I don't think that's tacking on isit, since he only slept 1.5HRS yesterday? You can see I'm scared to do EBT before 6am since he only goes for up to 12 hours...

Anyway. I am sooo tired today. Hardly slept and been awake since 3am. Better get breakfast ready...

Don't know what his AT is today given he only did 1.5HR on 4HR 25, so guess I just go for the same AT and hope....He'll be going for his nap at 10.55am too. And I don't know what his pm AT will be if he short naps??? He's happy at the moment, playing on the bed with his dad, but all I can think about is what will happen later and if he and I will get any sleep...

thank you for your support :)

Thank you for your support :) :)

Does 12HRS from an EBT mean he's tacking on?? Or shoudl the EBT be earlier to allow for that? or later?

I think I'd say he's tacking if his sleep in 24h is about right - 13.5h really isn't bad at all :)

Ugh what's happening here? Dd did 7.15-5.55 last night after only 2hr nap, much both shorter than her normal sleep lengths :(

I did shorter am at of 4h50 and she woke at 1.5hr so 12.30!!! Trying to resettle but if it doesn't happen then what?? She's driving me mad! Was that OT or UT nap? And what happened to my angel baby??!

Nope she's happily bouncing on the trampoline ::). She's done a poo- that's second time this week. How do I control that! Lol

Will aim for a 30min CN at 3.30 and BT 6.30 so day isn't too long. Wdyt?

Fx'd for your nap too. Did you go for 5.5h AT? xx

Ugh - we've had so many poo naps this week ::). If you find a cure let me know!  I aimed for 5h20 but was actually 5h30 when she settled, woke at 1h10 but v easy resettle (just lay her down with her lovey) so we're approaching 1h45 now :) :) :) best nap in weeks!!  Though no idea about bedtime.....been so long since a decent nap I actually have no idea what she can handle - LOL!!  Can't imagine it would be 5.5h again as that would be loads of A time for one day.  Maybe stick to a 12h day (7pm BT) if the nap is 2h or thereabouts and hope long am overrides the shorter pm? Nervous to go later as BT has been around 6pm for ages and normally a big jump tends to backfire...

Great nap! Yay! Agree with BT no way to find if long am overrides short pm for your lo so I would keep close to a 12h day too so BT 6.16/30 I'm sure shell let u know if she's ok with it!! Lol

Just wanted to say thanks for all of your help with my questions. While I don't think I have it all figured out just yet, I have had some improvements in the last few days.

DS is sleeping about 11 hours a night and the earliest he gets up is like 6:30 AM (better than those 4:40-5 AM WUs). I am putting him down earlier for nap #1 (after only like 3 hours A time) and he is going so much quicker (like 10 mins or less). DH and I would stay in his room until he fell asleep and I actually think this was causing him to stay awake longer. We now tell him it's sleepytime, that we love him and kiss him and we will come and get him after he wakes up and leave the room. He did cry a little the first few times (which he would cry when we would be in the room too so maybe those were OT times?) but doesn't fuss much or at all anymore.

Still trying to figure out the PM nap as it is taking him longer to go down (30-40 mins) and he is only sleeping like 30-40 mins and waking up crying/super crabby. Maybe I need to pull back on the time too, as by the time he falls asleep it is usually over 4h A time.

I think I thought he was on the longer end of A times for age and he is really on the shorter end. I feel like I have been torturing him for months by keeping him up too long and no wonder he was crabby but am glad it's working out...at least for now...maybe if I have LO #2 I will figure things out sooner :)
