Maybe we plan a holiday together and I'll babysit for you couple nights, so you get a rest??  He isn't my boy, so if he's not crying, I won't be woken
Don't tempt me!
I do seriously mean it as long as we won't bring hazard to O.

What about trying to do 1 nap day and 2 no nap days.  It's almost as if it's unpredictable, he sleeps ok.  Once he's settled into some schedule, his body wakes up!

I forgot if you moved his bedtime forward with no nap?  What's your gut feeling for the NWs, is it UT or OT?  Or both?  and did you end up trying melatonin?

Ok so need a bit more help (just to make a change I hear you all shout in unison :P)

I didn't get up to DS every night for almost a week  :o  He hasn't been napping, tbh I am enjoying the instant sleeping at bedtime and the lay ins if he doesn't sleep well at night, he has been fairly good humoured so that's been ok *until* ..... yesterday (well Sunday night it started ::) )  Sun he woke around midnight yelling for me, I went in and reassured him - assuming nightmare or whatever then last night we had singing and talking from 1.45am till nearly 3am ::)  I went in and gave him meds after about half an hour cos he did have his chickenpox jab on Fri and is still cutting the last point of the last molar and DH went in at one point and told him to stop talking - which he did for 2 mins.

I just don't understand it.  :(  He probably got around 11hrs still last night though but it's not a lot on no nap is it?  :-\

the jab and teeth might have caused this.  Wait another week and see?

Agree with Koe. If things have been going well and then a hiccup, perhaps just waiting a week to reassess may be the trick.
