Right now dd is doing a minimum 3hr15 A time between her naps, most of the time its more, but if she has a really short nap for whatever reason the minimum A time after that would be 3hr15 min. So i bear that in mind, after 3hr15 min i look for little signs. Sometimes she just starts getting whiney, and i know straight away she is ready for nap. She will be more clingy which generally goes hand in hand with the whining (wants me to pick her up) she doesnt really yawn only when i actually put her in the cot. She has a little snuggle blanket and she will grab that and snuggle her face into it & when shes ready for a nap its a bigger face rub/snuggle on the blanket.

Sometimes she can just go forever without showing any tired signs, which is when i have to just put her down for the nap at like a max A time.

I dint think your rubbish at all, some babies are really hard to read, theres nothing you can do about that except guess! So your doing great! And its only because we have been through some of your struggles & got good advice myself that worked that i am able to try & help you.

Really hope you get a good night & WU!

Here is an update. The night was great but she woke up at 5:45am with 7:10pm BT. I guess not bad but I was hoping for later WU. I know she had less A and a bit more day S yesterday but I figured since she needed it she will still sleep at least 11hrs at night. So I guess I shouldn't count it at EWU? And will try to go back to regular A times today but she still looks tired(dark circles are still there with bags under her eyes, small eyes)
Do you think I should allow her to nap 1hr45mins during PM nap instead of 1hr30mins today and/or every day?? Since that's what her nap used to be before I cut AM nap to 45mins. She didn't nap 1.5hrs and 1.5hrs for a while but rather 1hr AM and 1hr45mins-2hrs in the PM. Thanks

Oh, was hoping for a littler better wake up for you. Didnt you try w2s? Actually dd woke at 5am! But i could just hear hear chatting and she was back asleep at 5.30 and we woke her at 7. EW's come in for us when she needs more A time. But any more A time for us and we would really struggle to fit both naps in so im just going to go with the EW for now so we can hold onto the 2 naps a little longer. Last 4 mornings she has been awake ready for the day at 5.45 (but we dont get up until 6.30 she quietly chats to herself so im happy to leave things as they are for now)

Regarding the naps, yes you could try allowing 1hr45 in the PM and 45min AM again. Today id aim for  9.30-10.15 AM and  1.30- 3/3.15. Bed at 6.45?

Hope your day goes ok x

Thanks for letting giving the example of the day schedule!! I'll stick to it. I woke up again at 3:50 watched her she moved a bit but then was still so I tried opening and closing the door to see if the noise would store her but it didnt so I opened the door again wich doesn't make a noise(closing it does) and she cried in her sleep so I abandoned it again. Not sure if I still should've w2s or not

Thank I hope so too
Btw since your DD woke early you still offered her AM nap at the same time right? So technically she gets more A

I see so you always try to have 12.5-13hr days right?

P.S. so her second nap is going similar to the one day before yesterday when she had full As - wakes up at 35 mins crying, resettles, then wakes up with a terrible scream at 1hr15/20mins, and can't resettle anymore. So weird, maybe she is not happy with 3hrs45mins morning A then 45mins nap then 3hrs15mins A. I dont' know anymore. so she slept fo 1hr15/20mins for PM nap. I guess I will just keep her up till 6:45 like it's a set naps day. ARRRRR

Its usually between 13/13.5 in total. Her normal BT is 7pm give or take 10 mins either way. She usually wakes around 6.30. Just were having WU for the last few days of 5.45, (this morning she woke earlier but resettled) but i have been keeping her naps the same, the reason she is EWing is becuse we need to increase her A time more but i dont want to yet as it would push us closer to needing 1 nap and im not ready yet! We will end up with days like today where one nap is really short (she had 15 min this AM) this has pushed her to now 2pm, and she is still not really looking tired! So id prefer her to wake that lottlw bit earlier so we dont struggle fitting the 2 naps in x
