Well she did blinking nap 🤦‍♀️  Had 45 mins so I’m doing our old bedtime of around 7:15-7:30.
I’ve binned the gro blind today too, she does have black out curtains and blinds tho. Got sick of the black hole of Calcutta  :o
Am I asking for trouble? Lol
I figure it’s all over the place anyway at the min and the gro blind can’t stay up forever.

I’m so happy for you, maybe it was a developmental phase that’s passing.
Lol sure you’ll be fine with getting rid of black out x

Finally gave in at 8!!
Lord knows what time she will be up in the morning as a result!
Shall I just continue with the 45 mins do you think?
I also have a possible dilemma on Sunday. It’s mother in laws birthday and there is a family lunch at 1pm....usual nap time. Shall we just say blow it and go and hope for the best?!

Ah that sucks but I guess at least it prob clarifies it for you  ::)

I’d prob stick to what’s been working.

Yes try not to worry about the nap I’d either go for a walk or drive earlier to see if you can get a nap in say 12.15-12.45 or if meal finishes day 2ish pop for quick walk after and allow 30 mins and normal BT.x

Was thinking of offering her an early lunch/snack about 11:30 ish and then seeing if she’ll nod off in the car on the way.
I guess if we have a nnd we can just do super early bedtime!

The issue I have most weeks is mums Wednesdays  :-\ it’s always been the things that messes everything up  ::)

Yes I’d do exactly the same early lunch snack etc and hope she nods off!

Can you be a little more forceful with your mum?x

I try really hard but she takes offence really easily and we fall out  :'(
I am having cognitive behavioural therapy at the minute for my anxiety and the focus is always my mum!!
She will get a proper strop on like a child. Last time I had to ‘talk’ to her about my LG’s routine, she had a strop and told me she’d just lie about her nap in future 😡
What she fails to realise is that aside from escalating my anxiety, so making me unwell, she ends up upsetting her granddaughter as her sleep gets messed up and she gets grumpy. My mum has never acknowledged my mental health, my dad was bi polar and she would never allow anyone to mention it, she even struggles now and he passed away over 10 years ago.
