Well, now that you mention it, I have had to re-offer the rest of her morning bottle b/c she won't finish but half of it.  So, maybe I can move it to before nap, and then the second one before the second nap.  I might just try it.  Thanks!
Had Kelsey's Christmas photos done today.  Just a few weeks until I get them, but they looked great!

Can't wait to see Kelsey's Christmas pictures, and everyone else's. We are going to try and take our own Christmas photos.  I am pretty good with the digital camera and I have an awesome photo program on my computer. We'll see... maybe I'll be running to Target yet!

Okay-I've vowed to try a new finger/table food with Kelsey at least once a day every day for a week.  So, I'm cooking some pasta right now.  Here's my  :?: :  Do I serve it cold or warm it up?  Is there any certain type of pasta or ingredient in pasta she shouldn't have?

heather - with the pasta - try it both ways and see if she has a preference- alex will eat it either way to this day (which is nice and easy) but sometimes if it is in a container in the fridege what i do is pour some boiled water from the kettle on it for a second and then drain it off - just takes that cold-fridge - edge off of the pasta so it is soft again.

will write more later - need to check a few things on the site as i have been sick/tired/busy last 24 hours ...

7.30am we had to wake Daniel this morning    What is going on?!!  Not that I'm complaining but this is just so weird.

The last couple of days he's just started moving a lot more so maybe this is tiring him out more.  He's sleeping about 12.5 hours at night and at least 2 hours in day.  GREAT.

Crawling - aaahhhwwww so cute    He is just loving squirming around on the floor.  This morning he properly started pushing himself forwards - kind of rolls slightly to one side pushes with his right leg and then rolls back.  Trust him to do it differently :)   We're gonna have to go out today or tomorrow and buy some safety gates.  I think it's incredible how quickly they master something when they start out.

My SIL was due on 29th Nov.  She is gonna be induced on Sun (term +6) as drs are slightly concerned that the baby is very small.  She is obviously quite apprehensive.  Still, at least they know they'll have met their lo by early next week.  Yay

Heather - Daniel eats the pasta hot or cold too.  Having said that he's not a massive fan of it anyway.  His favourite at the moment is sultanas.  I'm not sure how he chews them but they always go down ok.

Christine - good luck with the photos.  It's amazing what you can do yourself with a digital camera.  I'm sure you'll get some  great ones.  I think we're gonna have a go ourselves.  In fact I'm wanting to take inspiration from Luka's photo and get some of Daniel in just nappy and Santa hat.

Congrats Schae - you must be so excited!

Good luck Branwen and let us know how Eirwen adapts to the altitude  8)

Debra - hope you are feeling better - so many colds going round  :(

Hazel - that is great news about the playgroup; it makes such a difference if people are welcoming and you can both enjoy being there!  Glad to hear Daniel seems to be recovering well.  Do you put a hot water bottle in his bed?  Ciara I think has been waking from the cold and so we started using hers again - here they use metal cylindrical ones and the first night I think it got a bit hot under the sheets   and she woke up crying but I think we have it sussed now and hopefully, she is back on track.....

Did anyone notice I finally figured out the avatar business?  And here are some pics too.  Can't wait to see everyone's holiday pics, so far they have been so cute!

Thank you for all the well wishes! :D

CONGRATS BRANWEN! I know EXACTLY how excited you are! hehehehe!

Klt: I love the 'catch me' pic! And the kissing one. Too cute.

Hazel: Daniel sounds so cute with his own version of crawling. Very sweet.

Us: As I mentioned on another board, we're still experiencing nightwakings (tonight was worse than usual, not sure why :? ) I'm hoping that things will get sorted once we move out, I'll have about 2 weeks till I start work and cannot deal with nightwakings AND work outside the home full time too. Don't know how dh does it.
We have minimal nightwakings when he's VERY tired at night. i.e after he has only had one nap for the day, but he still needs two naps or he's super grumpy. Hopefully things will be sorted out soon.

Schae - What does Luka do when he wakes up? We have also been battling nightwakings, but I think we have finally conquered them!!!!!  :D  :D  :D Leah wanted to eat in the middle of the night.  Because of this she then wouldn’t eat well during the day. I made a plan and stuck to it and this week she has gone from 6:30/7 till 5:30/6. I am actually thinking about posting our success story on the nightwakings board. Let me know if feeding is your problem, or if it is something else.

Hi girls!
Sorry for not posting for such a long time! I have been trying to search for jobs to work from home and Diya was doing great so far until we went on a trip(yes, again)!
Now she wakes up exactly at 12 and nurses for 15-30 mins. Her bedtime has been varying every day too. Tonight she went to bed at a good time without any struggle. Anyhow, the problem is habitual I think because she doesn't wake up at different times and she ate pretty decently yesterday. She has been doing this from last saturday. How do I nip it in the bud. Christine, how did you tackle Leah's night wakings for feeds? She gets mad at me when I don't feed her then.
Deb, good for you that you are not getting stressed about Liv's solid feedings. If it makes you feel any better, Diya started it when she was about 7 months old too. She is not a good eater even now. I stopped putting her in a high chair and let her get messy with a spoon and try everything. IT helps a little bit and I take her to her favorite toy.Seems like she would not like the same thing which she liked yesterday:(. But I keep giving her pretty much what we eat and it was working until last week.
All of you have been talking about cutting to 3 Bottle/Breast feedings. Has Tracy mentioned about it in her book. Are we supposed to take the initiative or the baby takes the lead? I am wondering if that is the reason why Diya doesn't eat her solids well.
Klt, awesome pics of Ciara
Julieb, I saw Asher's sleeping video and thought that was the most touching thing. He looks so tired and sweet:)

Christine!
I just read your post on the nightwakings board. Seems like such a neat idea! I'll try that tonight!
I hope that she won't wake though

Leah pulled herself up!  :D Granted it was at 3 am in her crib and I had to go and rescue her, but still!  :D When I walked in and saw her I wanted to clap and smile, but I had to keep a straight face, lay her down and say night night, since it was 3 am!!!!! Have a great weekend everyone!

Christine - that is awesome! now you can join me in my mixed feelings about pulling up as the games begin   olivia will pull up on things and then i hear the cries for rescuing and i keep teaching her to sit down herself (happens 1 in 4 times maybe).  yesterday it took 1hr 20 to get her down for afetrnoon nap because she was too revved up from all the movement (just like when crawling started) i hope your transition goes smoothly - watch out now she is growing up fast!

Christine, he also wants to eat. And today I figured maybe he is actually hungry. Which made me look at his daytime eating, and he doesn't eat too well during the day, in fact, he almost outright rejects breakfast.

Will go have a look at your post on the nightwaking board.

Edited to add: The first nightwaking, he just needs to hear my voice and he'll go straight back to sleep. It's the middle of the night waking (as in 3am) that he wants food and cries if he doesn't get any. I had a look at your post, but I won't be able to add water to my bm   So I think we'll go cold turkey (which is what I've been doing for the last week, and we're on 2 nightwakings a night). I'm sure once we move out, I'll be able to sort this out properly.
