We also learned that she can use a spoon semi independently (we loaded the spoon. she put it in her mouth and then handed it back when empty

That is awesome! Good girl.

Karen, sorry M is still sick. Hope things get better soon.

We are back again! We had been away in Sudbury visiting DH's family, and then after being home a few days we went to my sister's cabin on the lake for another few days. Whew! Enough travelling for me for a while. Nathan ate very well; all the fresh air really pricked his appetite. A few too many hot dogs for my comfort, but at least they were special low sodium ones. And our new discovery: Nathan can *devour* a slice of watermelon down to the white rind in mere seconds before handing it back and pointing to another slice for more!

Now that we are home again, I will start posting our regular menus again.

B's diet is so the same! I feel like copying and pasting my previous posts!

I have found though that B will eat dinner by self feeding or me feeding him from my hands, won't take dinner from a spoon  or fork? Yet will eat fruit purees and yogurts from a spoon? Who knows!
I did however find a way to get B to eat veggies! YAY! as he wont eat dinner from a spoon or fork he opens his mouth for my fingers so i mushed in some veggies a few nights ago into to his meat and he thinks it's just the sauce, it's on a small amount but still! YAY!!!! Success! ;D
For how long who knows? ::)

Yesterday:
B - I weetbix, 1/2 mash banana, prune juice, few bites of toast and some cornflakes, refused strawberries
S- 2 mum mums, water
L- spinach, feta and tasty cheese scroll
S- 1 yogurt, 1 fruit puree, refused cheese cubes
D- Steak Dianne, home made chips in loads of Dianne sauce, peas and broccoli mushed into the meat, 1/2 yogurt, prune juice, water
Ate a few mouthfuls of my steak and chips.

L: Cheddar cheese sandwich with 1 slice bread, blackcurrent milk jelly
S: 1/2 banana
D: Baby version of our fajitas (Chicken breast, onion, red pepper, tomato, flour tortilla) and butternut squash

We also still do 4 or 5 BF per day

Today:

Breakfast: Cinnamon raisen bagel (mini) grapes

Lunch: LEft over meatloaf and sweet potatos (refused) at cheese chunks and carrots and blueberries instead

Snack: Grapes and cheese crackers, cup of milk (which she refused)

Dinner: Was served pasta and sausage in sauce (refused) ate instead a spinach pancake, a yogurt and a cereal bar.

Looking for ideas for breakfast because really our regulars consist of muffins, bagels, pancakes and waffles and some fruit and/ or yogurt.  looking for a little more variation.

We do omelettes a lot for breakie. Nathan and I share one with 2-3 eggs, depending on what else I am serving with it (toast, fruit, etc). He can easily eat one egg by himself. Basically to make it I scramble the eats a bit in a mug while the pan heats, put in a bit of oil or butter and coat the pan well, then put the egg in. I let it cook, tilting the pan once in a while to spread the uncooked egg around. When it is almost cooked I carefully flip it, then put any filling in and close it up. I always use some kind of cheese, so once it is melted it is ready. I put in cooked onions, zuchinni, and/or bell peppers, or some kind of finely chopped meat, or peas... anything, really. He loves it, especially if he can dip it in something.

Here is Nathan's meals for today:
B: white toast with almond butter and cherry jam, and a banana
S: a yellow plum and some of my rice pudding
L: tortellini tossed with fresh parmesian cheese and cooked carrots, zuchinni, celery, and red pepper
D: cherry tomatoes from our garden, about 1/4 of a kaiser roll with butter, and half of a chicken breast... all dipped in Greek salad dressing (olive oil, olives, oregano, and feta cheese)

We often do raisin toast with a bit of cream cheese or challah french toast (which I make with some milk, vanilla, cinnamon and brown sugar mixed with the egg) for breakfast. And fruit.

Seem to be on the mend, knock wood. Was a rough week here! Today was:

B: small piece challah french toast, cantaloupe
S: (while shopping) 1/3 banana, some freeze dried pear "crisps"
L: about 2/3 broccoli potato pancake, half a yogurt
S: goldfish crackers
D: almost half a small grilled cheese sandwich, applesauce, arrowroot cookies

We normally do cereals (porridge, musli, weetabix or cheerios with BM, or CM if I have no BM pumped) with some kind of fruit added. Or we do egg and toast sometimes with a few baked beans. Or just toast with butter and marmite.
Our meals today have been:
B: Musli with CM and apple puree, fried egg, refused the toast (probably full by that point)
L: Pancake with pureed veg in the batter, hummus, grapes, pot of fromage frais
D: Chicken, onion, pepper, tomato and flour tortilla (leftovers from yesterday)

Nathan seems to be having a growth spurt... the last three nights he has signed for more milk after his last bottle, and ends up taking 12-16 oz before bed! He usually only takes 7-8 oz. He is also eating a lot of food during the day.

B: an entire slice of white toast with butter and balsamic/basil cream cheese, and a yellow plum
S: a banana, about 1/4 cup of raisins, and goldfish crackers
L: half of a chicken breast dipped in ketchup, and 1/4 of a bagel with butter
S: pineapple chunks and these Toddler Graduate puff stick thingies (they look like Cheesies but they are not)
D: egg frittatta with potato, zuchinni, and onion with cheese on top, plus broccoli salad (broccoli, onion, cherry tomato, and cucumber all chopped and tossed with light mayo and Greek salad dressing)

Holy lot of food and milk Amy! We are having the opposite here. Still fighting remnants of that bug plus teething and he's tired and not eating well. Today was:

B: most of a small piece of raisin toast with bit of cream cheese, some strawberries
S: 1/3 a banana and one arrowroot cookie (shopping cart)
L: 1/3 a yogurt with apple/carrot/parsnip puree mixed in, few bites scrambled egg with cheese and avocado
S: veggie chips, dried mango
D: rest of the yogurt/fruit + veg puree, few bites toasted bagel with butter, few bites roast beef from my sandwich

It's so frustrating when you spend ages making them a meal and they just take a few bites then refuse it isn't it!?
Today:
B: Musli with pureed pear, few chunks of banana
S: crusts of bread
L: Beef stew and potatoes (Ella's kitchen sachet as out and about), pot of fromage frais
D: spaghetti with cheese sauce (with pureed carrot and parsnip hidden), garlic mushrooms
