Nicole did she use the bottle to fall asleep? How big is her bottle at night you are giving her? Does she finish it?
Does she so tired signs when you put her down at night?

I agree, is she tired at night? I think maybe the last A time isn't long enough?  If she is laughing at you, what happens when you leave her to it?

And if happy, PU/PD probably isn't the best option, at that age with Zara, we switched to WI/PD/WO

okay...well maybe last night it's possible it wasn't long enough..but even if it's been 4hrs or 4.5...she STILL does this!
Natasha....she finally fell asleep on the bottle b/c she was exhausted!
sometimes she finishes her bottle sometimes not...last night she did not.
from her cues and the fact that she can go back to sleep at 2.5hrs from being awake yesterday and today I'm assuming she can't handle more than 4hrs A time before bed....
also....since reading to her before naps yesterday and today seems to ahve worked I wonder if I should switch her bedtime routine?
She obviously doesn't like having her bottle and then straight into her crib so I was thinking of feeding her out here tonight and then going into a quiet rooomt o read and cuddle before bed....what do you think?
i'm totally at a loss! she is also has tooth number 7 JUST about to pop through...but she's been totally fine, no fussiness...and this has been doing on for about 10days so I don't think it's due to her tooth..but who knows!

Hugs Nicole, definitely worth trying the bottle, and then some quiet A time before going to do story etc.

Again, another day with just 1 nap.  I guess she has transitioned herself  ::) They tried her for a nap at 10:00, she was having none of it, and then napped from 12 - 2, and was in bed by 6:30 this evening.  She got cranky around 5:30, but we just have bath time, and then jamies, then bottle and bed, she was giggling on her bottle though, though it was a game  ::) :P

She is still rolling over and standing up the minute I put her to bed, so hope the novilty will wear off soon.  Thankfully, it was only 5 mins of pat / shhh and she was asleep.

Sherry / Krissy how did your day go?

So....Natasha does Mirelle do 3.5-4hrs before bed?
if I remember correctly megan would sleep
9-10:30/11
and 1-3.... bed at 7....
so even though she also had short A time during the day she had a long A time before bed.
I will try the 4hrs before bed.
she slept 10-11am this morning...so i'm going to do nap at 1:30...hopefully til 3 or 3:30 and then bedtime at 7/7:30
now...IF she takes  a short Afternoon nap, should I just put her to bed 4hrs from when she wakes? or do you give them less A time in the afternoon if afternoon nap is short/???????

Nicole

It might help you to stick to a 1 hour nap in the morning so you know you can fit in longer second nap and bedtime without things running too late.  If Callie takes a shorter PM nap then I still do bedtime roughly about the same time.  She doesn't get really OT though.

We do:

7am up
10-11 sleep
230-4 sleep
7 bedtime
Mummy to 2 beautiful kiddies.

I would probably wake around that time anyway Krissy, as you still want him to go to bed at a decent hour.

Nicole, do you think that Erika will go down after only 2.5 hours A time?

im hoping he wakes on his own, im gonna go get his snack bottle ready..he usually doesnt finish one bottle a day now so i started making this one only 4oz.
im gonna get rid of one in the next few weeks..i think iwill do 730 then one around 130/2, and then at 8 as usual. does that sound right?
i will add a snack when he wakes up from his second nap.
