welcome sofie, ha I swear its the age...i feel for ya. I honestly wouldn't go for one nap just yet. IMO I'd put that off as late as possible...10 mos is a little young...not unheard of though but still I'd keep trying for two at this point...
have you ever tried the 2,3,4? I never have because I didn't know about it back then, otherwise i totally would have and it works for many babies that age...so for you with the morning start of 6:30 and say you got two 1.5 hr naps each day it would look sort of like this...
6:30am start of day
8:30-10:00am 1st nap (2 hrs from start of day)
1:00-2:30pm 2nd nap (3 hrs from end of 1st nap)
6:00pm BT (4 hrs from end of 2nd nap)

some have done 3,3,4 or 2,3,5...you have to see what works for you but as a general rule 2,3,4 is a good place to start anyway...and like we say on here you HAVE TO GIVE IT TIME TO WORK...please don't try something new every other day...we are all guilty of it in our anxiety of trying to get the best sleep for them...but often times it is very confusing to them. this is really sleep TRAINING...and like anything else it takes time to train the body to do something you know?
