You could even do just a 15 mins catnap to get him through to a reasonable bedtime. Expect a 10.5hr night, and review again tomorrow.

It does not look like he will resettle. I think his canines are just bothering him too much. But i do think 5hrs is the right A time. I will do 15min cb at 430 and then bt at 7. Does that sound about right?

Sounds good to me! You can do the CN earlier if he seems tired. Good luck!

Anna, no prob!! I somehow think for whatever reason, teeth perhaps, he might need a longer A to be able to sleep through the discomfort.  I know it sounds crazy at this age, he can do 5+h A.  The multiple NWs seemed just too much!!

Ooops posted same time as Maya.

If you want to do CN, perhaps 40 mins at 4?

Oooops all these posts lol

What you put down sounds good

Oh lord take me now! We started our day at 435! He slept from 0705 with only one co around 830. I did wiwo until 620 and gave up! He didnt really cry much either until the last 20mim. He would just lay there and every 20-30 min he would throw his pacis out and cry for me. I offered water, smeared his gums with some teething gel and laid him back down. Rinse and repeat. I cant believe the teeth arent even cutting yet! I am afraid to find out how it can get worse than this! He has been such a good sleeper in the past. It is hard for me to believe this all only from ot, yk?? Even when ot and getting 10.5hr night i could 90% of the time resettle within an hour, but 2 hours of resettling on 9.5hrs of sleep and nothing?!?! This is insane! And he is happy as clam this morning! I dont understand how he is surviving on such little sleep...

One more thing... The past 3 days he wants to eat literally ALL day! I mean NONSTOP! Maybe he likes the chewing?? He wont chew on any teethers, only his fingers...

Then it is a growth spurt, about the eating.  Do 2 naps and late bt, like 9 or something.  Go outside with him, let him pass out when he wants to.  So you can relax a bit.  I feel all the stress that I used to have just reading your posts.  Hugs!!!   Is weather agreeable there?

Yes the weather is good but i truly dont think i can last until 9 with him. Dh wont be around today and i will lose my mind and pass out from no sleep if i need to keep up with him until 9. Suddenly 530 sounds great! Thats sad isnt it? ::)

Well, I have has this sleep saga for 4.5 years!  I truly enjoyed the short period when EBT became BT.  It was a mad rush and I know if I was late for a bit or he fell asleep in the car, i would be doomed again but at least I had time for myself from 5 ANd I didn't have to stay up till so so late just to unwind.  I am envious of those with LOs who still go to bed early now being older!

I really think you need to keep him up to extend a bit of his A time, though.  His mind is so alert now, you need to wear him down lol

Since I have decided on doing set nap and BT we did nap today at 1230 even though he has been awake since 440 (in cot until 620). He woke at 1335 and resettled himself almost instantly. Since then he is still sleeping so he has been sleeping 2hr20. Is there any time I should wake him? Also I don't know if I should do set BT or BT based on WU from nap?

Great!!  Is he up yet?  I think 12:30 set nap time is good.  Perhaps 7:30 bt.

Your nap is now at reasonable time, forget WU time as bt reference!  He was perhaps waking earlier as he wants a longer A.  You might even consider 8pm bt to shift his Wu later.  He has now a refreshing nap, will have too much energy for bt.  Aim 5-5.5 h A, but watch him also.  I would wake him at 3:30, though, or else u will get UT drama again.
