Hope that smile means what we think it means!

I also had a male GP tell me to stop feeding when I had mastitis.  I told him he was wrong.  He was not impressed...

Antibiotics usually seem to kick in quite quickly but I guess any infection will spread until it starts improving IYSWIM?
Can you usually take ibuprofen? If you're not already, get some down you. It'll help the inflammation. You can use cold compresses after feeds too if that helps and get some warm on before the next one.

Hopefully you'll start feeling better tomorrow.  I think it took me a day's worth to start feeling better and yes, as long as you're not contraindicated for ibuprofen (asthmatic etc), get some going in as it will take down the swelling, help with the temperature and ease some of the discomfort.

Hugs for tonight.  Hope your LO can help get this shifted for you ASAP. :-*

Ouch.  I had to pump to get mine to clear.  Even with the hospital grade pump I rented it took a few days on abx for them to loosen up.  Just keep feeding, they will clear, hopefully sooner if you can get the swelling down.  I remember dd1 was able to clear one blockage the first time I had it, and it felt sooooo good, just be patient  :-*
