that is cool!  Just to rule it out.  It is just so tricky that if he really needs a long first A, short pm A and you get a good night and late wu, then what???

I think we may have hit JACKPOT!!!! FX! FX! FX that it was not a one time thing!

This was yesterday:

WU 0530
A 7hr
S 1230-1355
A 3hr42 asleep at 3hr47
BT 1737 asleep at 1743
NW 1830
NW 1925 co, ss
WU 0535

Almost 12hrs!!!
I think i may have been able to put him to bed 15min earlier.
I dnt think he needs 7hr A in the morning, he is obviously ot by then but i need to figure out a way to make wu later for the 1230 nap.
Now my question is, if i do get a good nap of over 2hrs and do a 4hr A to bed, how long will he sleep at night????

Tomorrow is a jewish holiday and and we are invited for a dinner but i have no babysitter so i will be bringing liam with me. His bt will be late, but i will probably get a later wu. I will stick to the 1230 nap or maybe even push it later depending on wu, and see what happens. If we get a good nap too because the A will be more normal  then i can do a normal bt.
If i see this is working for him then i will move everything later because bt is too early, with holiday coming up and DLS happing anyways at the end of october, i might as well move everything later if this works!

I hope i am not getting ahead of myself... ::)

Lol!!  FX for u!!

Anna's Audrey can self regulate if nap and bt are kept consistent.  Just not sure if perhaps this is what Liam needs, more consistency.  I am also not sure if you can count that as a 12h night as he had 2 NWs.  DS also wakes much later if he has Nw.

Fx for nap today!

Both NW lasted less than a minute so i didnt even count them!

So you think i should not do BT with A time? Just keep at the same time no matter what? Is that what you mean by self regulating?

I am not sure at all.  Oh sorry, I didn't read it well enough, if it was just a minute, I wouldn't count at all lol.  I like a 2h nap, then 4h A.  Stick close to the scheme for 3 days.
Which part do you feel that was the magic number?  The set nap time? Or the A time to bed?

I think the A time to bed is important but also not less than 6hr A in the morning is also important because then we get ew. Of course if i do set nap time and one day he sleeps in and i still do the set nap and it is less than 6hr A i do think it will self regulate and he will wake earlier the next day to make it a better A time for him, yk??

So i think for 1230 nap, ideal wakeup is between 6-630. But if he does a short nap then i have to do 3.5-3hr45 A in the afteenoon and even if he does a 12hr night his wakeup is earlier than that.

Sounds like a good plan!  I'll be busy all day again,  but will try to check in.  FX
