my gosh Judy.  not sure whether you need hugs or something large and hard to smack your DH with!  Holy Smokes woman.  That is a LOT to take on.  cannot believe you were peeling potatoes with both girls in the slings.  I copied I don't know how many sentences to quote...let's see which was last
Quote (selected)
Well - should get my boobs back from these girls so if someone shows up in the next five I'll just be in my sweats and not in my sweats with my boobs hanging out.
In all that you still have your sense of humour.  Big hugs to you girl...you deserve them today more than ever.

richelle-you need a coffee.  LOL

well-we hit the MOTHERLOAD at MILs.  so many toys it's hilarious really.  And I love all but one.  The first one he opened actually called "Classical Casey"-a frightening looking rabbit that plays classical music when you touch his feet.  He got a cool V-tec Steering wheel, Phonics fridge magnet, phonics bus, blocks, lego, tons of clothes and i don't even remember the rest.  he loved it all!

nikki-lol at the fake smile.

hannah-your pics didn't work.

i'll post pics tomorrow-gotta get over to the nap board-it's my day.

"see" you all tomorrow.

OMG..... I jsut want to curl under a rock and wait till wedensday when I go back to work, I just a had a long post on here, as I have had the crappiest of times the past couple of days, and dh goes and closes the window down on me when i ask him to find something on the computer for me.
He turned a half hour job into a four hour one while I was in the same room struggling to get Riley to go down so I can put Jay in bed.
Bedtime is bedtime, he has a habit latley of booting it out of the door when that time of night comes around.
And then when I question him about how his parents f@cked up in thinking that xams dinner meant coming for dinner on boxing day. he says he can't say anything to them as it will confuse them.....excuse me, WTF  I have my mum in the uk in tears cuz she wants to be here for the kids and obviously can't...their lazy asses are 2hrs away by car, and they complian they don't see them enough...not my f@cking fault
They didn't even come to the hospital when Ri was born....
When dh's nan died, they assumed I would stay with the kids in the city while dh went to the funeral...no one asked if I would like to wait at their house while they were doing what they had to do, dh called me after and told me they were all at his parents for a dinner.....woah!!!! if I am his wife aren't I family????
They are having a dinner on the 1st, and have invited us, there musn't be anyone else coming if they asked me.....
I am so mad and pi$$ed......they go on about how we put the past behind us and crap like that.....I personally hate them....I know it is a strong word, but it is for dh and the kids that I tolerate them.....they condone how we live (in the city) and eat, yet she is pushing 350lb.....she can barely walk to the other room without a struggle....
I have to stop, I am just way too pi$$ed to think straight...sorry to bring anyone's day down.....I just needed to vent......

But on the upside, here are some pice of the kids that I scanned....FINALLY

Thanks ladies... oh my gosh Richelle THANK YOU!!!  I have no idea what you were trying to say :) but you gave me the biggest laugh I've had in days now!! :) :)

Bec - I love those pics!!!  You too Naomi - your IL's sound frustrating.  It's a good thing you spoke to them so you were sitting there tonight with a warm dinner waiting and waiting on them.

Nikki - great happy shot!! :)  I love Nathan's 'smile' - great thank you card to Santa ;)

Tracy, I just got up from my chair and the IL's pulled in the driveway.  I handed the babes to Chris and hopped in the shower.  :)

And everything did go well... basically by the time I was done in the shower things were at a point where I could sit and visit for a bit.  Dinner turned out very well, pies were yummy!! :)  Chris' Uncle came and said to me "now Judy, why are YOU doing all this work with all these kids around?" and I said for one, it's easier to be home with the children and two, quite frankly, I'm the best cook in this family! :)  Nothing like tooting my own horn.  Of course he says "well, yes I didn't feel like going anywhere today but then I remembered you'd be cooking so I had to come along"  (he's divorced and his kids refuse to have anything to do with him so it's a tough time of year for him :( )  and didn't I say he's sarcastic?  Usually he is but he was so nice today! :)  And  I just love having my MIL around these days because Kaia and Hannah just love being with her and they are so happy when Chris' family is around - unlike mine.  Why? I bet quite honestly it's me - I'm sure they sense the tension in me when my fam is around.

Sarah napped for about 2.5+hours today and now at 10.34pm she is standing up on a chair looking over the side of the couch at dh saying "pop goes the weasel" then off the chair, walks around it and does it all again.  :)  She's not so tired.

Hannah is cutting one maybe two top teeth so she had a tough time going to bed tonight - along with all the excitement - when I checked in on her she was turned completely around in her crib snuggled up to her new baby.  We gave them babies for Christmas (along with a ton of other stuff) because they like to chew on the older girls but it really stresses Z&S to have the babies licking their babies. :)  I'd post a pic or two - but dang this new computer, I've got to get my camera set up on it...  All this complaining about this pc ...  you'd never guess that pc support is my career!! LOL  I just didn't feel like dealing with it right now.

I have to say... this UP stuff helps me in my life as well as parenting.  Cuz I'm so over being p!ssed at dh.... a year ago - I'd have stayed mad for days until I finally let him have it (seriously!!)

Oy!!  I think dh & I will be asleep before Sarah tonight.

Off to see if I can get this camera to download pics.

Naomi I AM hotheaded by nature... out of earshot of the girls just after the muffin mashing incident I said to dh "f@cking Christmas, who gives a sh!t anyway, I don't know why I bother, no one appreciates all the f@cking work I do!"    I was pretty p!ssy for a few moments.  LOL :)  Although it made for a funny story to tell MIL!!  She just laughs!!

OMG girls....I totally forgot to tell you what DH got me.  Well, aside from a spa package, a mom and baby swim package, perfume set, makeup ( I asked for specifically ), hand treatment, he got me:

Unconditional Parenting (asked for)  AND

Supernanny

hee hee.  i explained they are kind of at odds with each other.

he's taking supernanny back :D

Can you tell he feels bad for letting me do ALL the work for the first 7 months of Cole's life!

I gotta get off of here and go read!

Merry Christmas everybody!
Well, I know it is Boxing Day for some. It almost 8 pm here and our Christmas is done! We had take-out Chinese  ... the first ever that we did not have a "proper" Christmas dinner but I was not going to cook a turkey for only 4 people and my mother eats like a bird so, 3 people. Anyhow, it went well and Arwyn got spoiled for her 1st Christmas. She got an assortment of toys and clothes. There was one gift I was not too impressed with but I have come to expect it from this one friend so... whatever.

Naomi... beautiful Christmas pictures. Sorry to hear you are dealing with such inconsiderate behaviour from the ILs. Some people just don't know how to be nice and don't have any idea how their actions affect somebody else. Take comfort in that you, in all your patience dealing with them, are a good person. {{{{HUGS}}}}

Judy... OMG... the post had me telling DH that you and I married the same PROCRASTINATING man.  He also, at the end of things, tells me it went just fine and that I work myself up for nothing.   Glad to hear your Christmas dinner went well. I couldn't even deal with one little baby... never mind 4 and cooking Christmas dinner... heck, I can't even get regular dinners on the table!

Bec... lovely pictures of Halle. Can you believe that DH and I forgot to take any pictures of Arwyn opening presents? oh well

Richelle... operator DUI error? or the pc really on the blink? LOL

Traci... my sister got Arwyn the same VTech steering wheel! She commented that Arwyn needed something to do while chatting on her cell phone! (purchased when Arwyn was a newborn) Cool gifts from DH, BTW.

All this talk about UP has piqued my interest... could somebody post the website address again?

Ta ta... see y'all after I go SHOPPING tomorrow!!!!!

judy nice to know things turned out for the better with you today.... also nice to know I am not the only firey one on here.
    Richelle...gimme whatever you are having.....

Despite my pi$$iness, Jay did something real cute today, I asked him to leave his toys so I could put Riley to bed, he then brought them all out, his new thomas lego train track set, and set it on the kitchen floor and palyed in the kitchen....she didn't end up going down for a couple more hours, but what a sweetie....

Just a question, what do peole think of nanny 911, personally I prefer them to supernanny, as they tend to fix things as a whole and I don't think I have ever seem them deal with disapline, rather they find what is causing the problem and fix that....

Righty ho, I am off to bed, way to tired, and have cooled down a little thanks to my girls.....you rock, I would be so lost without you all.
