I just put them in an airtight tin or box, they're fine for a couple of days like that, if I'm keeping them longer, I freeze them.  If you freeze them, either defrost at room temperature for a couple of hours or defrost in the microwave on defrost setting but be careful as they might need to cool down again for a minute or so afterwards.  Hope they're a hit!

Given that little man is  in bed, I've had to test on his behalf...yum yum yum... I put slightly too much apple in I think but I reckon they'll be a hit! Thank you. I've signed up to your blog - it's fantastic!

B: 1 slice apple/carrot french toast, strawberries, piece of turkey bacon, milk
S: juice, some cheerios
L: yogurt, one bite of peanut butter and sweet potato sandwich (it sounds weird, but I have to sneak veggies in however I can, won't touch them otherwise)
S: half of peanut butter and sweet potato sandwich, strawberry smoothie
D: 2 chix tenders, potato chunks, milk

I think we all sneak things into sandwiches ;)  DD had a yogurt/avocado combo today for lunch ;)

Here is our day so far after being ill for a few days with no appetite -

B: 1/4 cup baby cereal, 3 grapes, 2 small cubes of cheddar cheese, water
S: one bite scrambled egg, a few bites of English muffin with fruit spread (baby fruit pouch), a few grapes
L: small sandwich with avocado/yogurt, a few grapes (see a trend with the grapes?!), 8 oz bottle 30 mins later
S: not awake from her nap, but will be small - maybe a fruit bar/cheese
D: will be chicken/veggies/pasta - she will eat like a horse for the most part at this one meal.

And then a bedtime bottle of 8 ozs.

DD will not take milk from her sippy so we still have a couple bottles of formula each day...

I wish I could sneak things into her sandwitches after the first bit she takes it apart if she finds something she doesn't like.

B: Cheerios and milk, 1/2 an apple
S: @ school so probably water and some sort of cracker
L: cup of milk and a peanut butter and jelly sandwitch
S: None as she got up late from nap
D: 4 homemade chicken nuggets, 6 carrots, 1 chocolate chip cookie

I feel like we are in a rut with food too... it's just so tiring to make things and her not like them... seems that it's easier to just give her what i know she will eat..  must expose to new things!

B: baby oatmeal and applesauce
S: grapes/cheese
L: avocado/yogurt sandwich and orange segments
S: seems to be skipping this snack now but will offer crackers/fruit
D: will be pasta/veggies tonight

That's been one of the great things about having a blog, it encourages me to have more variety and try something new.

My general rule is to introduce something new for the first time at lunchtime to then have something safe in the evenings.  Those sleepless nights as a baby still seem alarmingly close.
