They do grow out of it eventually I hear! Hang in there girls.
I would say so!  Mind you DS still isn't STTN every night but falling asleep in seconds nice and early is a bonus!

I totally believe the key is early bedtime.  Earlier than you think.  I would do everything poss to get these LOs into bed early when they do not nap.

((((hugs))))

Asleep at 8pm and  woke up at 6:20am, crying and calling for me. She ran into my room, saying she was scared.

need to hang my head here...just got H into bed at 6.35pm which is the earliest for ages. It seems to make no difference with us whether he has a nap or not in terms of the time it takes him to settle to sleep i.e. with a nap he is still ready for bed by 7pm - it just tells me he is tired.
Some trying behaviour today including pooing his pants for the third day in a row and then asking me 'are you happy' Better go before this turns into a couch post.

Got a nap out of D today, which was well needed. He chattered away for ages but eventually settled and had about an hour. However it's all about to go a bit wrong I think as I've had to give him meds this evening due to him burning up. Hope it's just teeth (we're waiting on the last top 2) as we're due to have a BBQ with friends tomorrow and I've bought all the food!

We are still going great guns. I feel bad saying this since some of you are having a bad time, but at least it may give you hope and if it is any consolation I was up many times with DS2 yesterday.
Anyway, K slept 13hrs last night. I planned to do a nap day today but went shopping with my sister and eneded up leaving later than I planned in the 1st placeand then spent ages so it got too late. K was alseep by the end of wd tomight at 7pm. I could handle these 11hr days and 13hr nights. We are going to visit my work (am on mat leave) tomorrow so sure it will all go wrong and we will get EW and I can't do a nap and go out for lunch as lunch is 12.30.

hugs Becky.

I put Madi down for bed at 8pm and of course she kept asking me to stay for one more minute. I am expecting a 10hr night.

Sigh girls! We're up and down! B slept 3 hours yesterday for his nap. I let it go because we had to go out and I knew we'd be back a bit later. So EW this morning, not sure if it was the 3 hour nap or later BT? Ay! Who knows?!

Hugs all... Yawwwwwn...

One of the signs that DS1 was ready to drop the nap was EW, he'd go to bed fine and wake at 5am. Hope you can get some rest at some point, Brocks mummy xx

Think D is a bit poorly still. After i went to give him meds he did sleep all night till 7.15 but he's not himself. I have sent him to nursery as usual and told them. Normally he gets there and he's off without a backward glance but today he was clingy. No tears, but he looked so sad as he stood there waving to me with one of the carers! Took all my strength to drive off out of the carpark and not go back in there and grab him!

10hr night here again. Woke up at 6am on the dot. Sigh.  At least with the 1.5hour nap she is getting a little more sleep. Sleep is averaging about 11.5hours now. She used to do 12.5hours.  I just don't know why this girl won't add to her night. We are on day two of doing a longer A to bed.

K was up 6.50 but nearly 12hr night so i can't complain. I put him in the buggy and carried b when we were out but he didn't nap at 12.30 then on the way home he was falling asleep standing on the train. Kept him awake 2 stops then swapped him back to the buggy but he then seemed to wake up. Everyone was laughing on the train. He was in bed by 7 and asleep in minutes. Hope we get 12hrs tonight again. I Will give him a nap tomorrow for sure. We are home so Will put him down in his bed.

I really miss those wus. It has been 5weeks now that we are dealing with 6am or earlier wups.  I am hoping that gong back to a 1.5hour nap and a little later bt will help her moods.  ::) ::)  I don't know what else to do. One hour naps were just making her utterly miserable and ew the next morning- but would go to bed really easy. I don't know. I am hoping to move her nap closer to 1pm for 1.5hours and then do an 8:30pm bt.  How does that look?  I don't think we will get our 11hr nights back unless drops her nap.  Now the thing is that she will NOT nap in her bed anymore. It is the sofa, so I try to make it cozy for her. I don't let her watch T.V until it is around her nap time.  This is so freaking hard, really hard! I am losing my mind and am thinking I need to drink.

D napped for an hour at nursery yesterday, but I'm not sure about today. We had friends over for a BBQ so the kids had a slightly later night, think it was about 8.15. D slept till just before 8am so I'm not sure if he'll be ready for a nap at his usual 1pm. Thing is I don't like to have him sleep past about 2.30 in order to preserve bedtime, so I guess I'll just have to put him down normal time and see what happens?
