LOL Stacy - your theory does apply to Zara I think....she is back napping most days - and it is HOT here, and she spends almost all morning outside!  Nights are short though, but until the last few days when she has been a bit ill, she has been sleeping through.

Well, I didn't want to join this thread yet, lol, but here I am.  ;)

DS has skipped about 3 naps in the past 8-10 days.  How do you ladies get things done on no nap days (or have a rest yourself)?  With DD I gave her piles of books and she'd "read" them for a while.  DS doesn't want to do that.

So far it has been an uphill battle, but most sleep changes/issues with him have.

I do look forward to him being able to handle no nap for special events but I'm sure not wanting to give it up day-to-day yet.  Also, that means going back to a really early bedtime which he had finally outgrown for a while.  Also makes special events in the evenings much harder as I have to really watch or he gets OT easily.

My DD wouldn't go in her room either, I compromised with DVD - must lay down for it, so quiet time that way.

Stacy, Zara is blowing your theory out of the water - 9-9.5 nights on a 1-1.5 nap now.  And it is hot and sunny and we are outside HEAPS.

OK, we're out of the naps entirely.... unless we're in the car in the late afternoon.  Do they ever grow out of that ten minutes messing with the usual bedtime!!??

is this thread still current? 30pages is usually the max right? but I can't find a thread no3?  will do a seperate post as unsure if Lily is starting to drop her nap or what might be going on, to say she has me a little confused at present is an understatement.
