okay deb...ive thought about it.
i WISH i could say she was ot....a little part of me wishes it was, cuz then that is at least something i can work with.
throughout dd's life, her A times are consistent and deadon...unless ill (only twice so far) or severely teething. if i say she will fall asleep at 5hrs, she does on the nose. we have had points in her life where all A times were the same eg; 3.5, 3.5, 3.5, as well as ones that added on during the day eg; 2.5, 3, 3.5. when she finishes this round, she will be exact once again. it's just a matter of time. if memory serves me correctly, each time she pushes a new A time...its about 2/3wks of sucky weird sleeps...that oddly enough, form a pattern that sticks.
when she is ot...like on nights that she falls asleep past 8pm, she will cry out the second transition in (for sure), and periodically through the night. she then early wakes. unless she is changing this up on me, it seems to be how it goes. these nw'ings maybe only have to be tended to once in awhile.
the only time she has silly play time middle of the night, is when she has too much daysleep. she slept perfectly soundly last night, and went to sleep within 30mins of going to bed (which is when i actually wanted her to sleep anyhow). exactly 8hrs later, she woke and played for 1.5hrs....at which point i went in and told her to quit the partytime, it was still sleepytime...and she went back to sleep till 7am. on early wakes due to ot, she never ever falls back to sleep...she is up and wired.
so after thinking about it...im pretty sure we arent in ot land.
thanks for making me think about it though.
oh btw, why can't noah try one nap after 5hrs? i am doing 5hrs before nap with avery now (eventhough i know she can do 5.5hr just fine--doesn't fit into the day now) and 6hrs after. what is his A time after nap?
