Yes...TTFN...ta ta for now...let's see what other ones I can pull up from my note passing days in highschool...BFF Best friends forever...JK Just Kidding..KS Keep Smiling...that's all I can think of for now but there are more I'm sure.
Anyhow. Congrats on the good night Holly. You've come a long way already!! Yay for you.
Ugh, changing diapers and pj's...yes it is a major struggle here too. As is wiping the face after a meal. Seriously you would think I was oh I don't know (insert something very painful here) with the way she screams and cries and turns away from the washcloth. Any one having the same issue? Any ideas?
I like the idea for the toy while changing. Funny how they just keep getting older and you forget to grow with them at times
Micky best wishes for the surgery I will be thinking about you and Jackson.
The sippy cup issue. I though nuby's were the ticket but she has since decided not to like Nuby's I guess, I know you are supposed to stick with the same one for what three weeks?? But of course I switched to Avent and she will actually drink a little water from that, without the...argh mommy brain what do you call those things...oh yes! valves (??) I have seen the tupperware ones before they sound good, maybe I'll try to locate one.
LOL richelle about the yobaby...sounds like something I would do. The faces are pretty funny when they don't like something and it sounds like all the lo's are getting a wee bit fiesty about likes and dislikes!!!
Food-I am desperate for some more ideas. She is loving the melt in your mouth cereal thingys from gerber. I love the watermelon idea. DH is sooo worried about choking he has kinda got me really scared too but truly she probably will have more troubles until she gets the hang of it, so I guess I have to get over it. We tried that mesh bag thingy where you put the food inside and they can chew on it. She wanted NOTHING to do with it which is really weird because she puts every thing in her mouth.
I was just saying to my running partner this morning, I have a hard enough time figuring out what to make for myself and dh for dinner, now I have to plan meals for her as well?! It has been so easy up until now to just buy, open and serve
But I agree, I think she's a little bored with gerber
Time to move on.
Nikki-do you know the reasoning behind milk feeds being the ideal main source of nutrition? Just curious. ALso, for how long? One year?
I think I'll try egg yolk, pear slices to gnaw on, maybe watermelon if I can find some...
What about bread, how do you serve that...Hayley you and Lisa both mentioned it.
I went to "worldmarket" yesterday hoping to find some of those heinz teething rusks...no such luck. I ended up buying a whole bunch of cadbury chocolate though...not that I needed it. I think I am PMSing I have been a bit of a rager the last few days.
OK, OK, enough already!
TTFNTML (just made that up...ta ta for now to my ladies
 )
You guys really bring out the goof in me.
